Man Found Dead in Field Near Jadhar Village in Yamunanagar, Head Injury Raises Suspicion
YAMUNANAGAR: Panic spread in Jadhar village of Yamunanagar district on Wednesday morning after the body of a man, believed to be around 50 years old, was found in a field near the local cremation ground under the jurisdiction of Chhachhrauli police station. The deceased had sustained a deep injury to the head, while blood was visible on the face, prompting police to examine the possibility of foul play.
The body was spotted by local residents who had gone out for their morning walk towards the cremation ground through the fields. According to villagers, they noticed a person lying in a field covered in white clothing. On moving closer, they found him unresponsive and saw injuries around the head and blood on his face. The villagers immediately informed the police, following which a team from Chhachhrauli police station reached the spot and began the preliminary investigation.
The identity of the deceased had not been established at the time of the initial investigation.
