A Samadhan Camp was organised at the SDM Office in Chhachhrauli on Thursday, where SDM Jaspal Singh Gill heard the grievances and problems of local residents. A total of five complaints were received during the camp and were forwarded to the concerned departments for necessary action and timely resolution.

The Samadhan Camp was organised as part of the Haryana Government’s initiative to provide citizens with an accessible platform for raising issues related to various government departments and public services. During the camp, SDM Jaspal Singh Gill interacted with the complainants and reviewed the nature of their grievances before directing the concerned officials to take appropriate action.

The SDM said that residents can bring complaints related to the Parivar Pehchan Patra, ration cards, social security pensions, police matters, Panchayati Raj institutions and other government departments to the Samadhan Camp. The objective of the initiative is to ensure that citizens do not have to make repeated visits to different government offices to seek solutions to their problems.

He said that wherever a complaint can be resolved immediately on the spot, efforts are made to provide prompt relief to the applicant. However, matters requiring verification, departmental reports, field inspections or examination of documents are referred to the respective departments with directions to complete the process within the prescribed time frame.

SDM Jaspal Singh Gill emphasised that the effectiveness of such public grievance redressal camps depends on timely follow-up by government departments. He directed the concerned officials to treat public complaints seriously and ensure that cases forwarded from the Samadhan Camp are dealt with without unnecessary delay.

The Samadhan Camp serves as a direct platform for interaction between the administration and the public, enabling citizens to present their concerns before officials of different departments. Such camps are intended to improve coordination among departments and make the grievance redressal process more responsive and transparent.

Officials from several departments were present during the camp to assist in addressing the issues raised by members of the public. Block Development and Panchayat Officer Kartik Chauhan, Naib Tehsildar Anand Rawal, Naib Tehsildar Pratap Nagar Darvinder Singh, SEPO Vikas Kumar, RFO Baljit Singh, Amit from ZCRIM, Rakesh from DFSC, Padam from CHC Chhachhrauli, Vikram from the District Social Welfare Department and Harinder Kamboj from the Agriculture Department were among those present.

The administration reiterated that Samadhan Camps provide an important opportunity for citizens to raise concerns directly before government officials. The initiative also helps departments identify recurring public issues and take steps toward improving service delivery at the local level.

Officials said that complaints requiring immediate intervention are addressed on priority, while other matters are taken up through the appropriate departmental procedure. The concerned departments are expected to examine the complaints received during the camp and take action according to applicable rules and regulations.

The district administration has encouraged residents to make use of the Samadhan Camp mechanism for issues related to government services and public welfare schemes. Citizens can present their grievances along with relevant documents so that officials can examine the matter and initiate the required process without delay.

The Chhachhrauli Samadhan Camp concluded with instructions to the concerned departments to follow up on the five complaints received and ensure appropriate action within the stipulated time frame.
