Palak Nehra and Suhail Gandhi secure top positions at Hindi Diwas competitions in Ambala

Students of Sant Nischal Singh College of Education for Women, Yamunanagar, brought laurels to the institution by securing first positions in speech and poetry recitation competitions organised as part of a Hindi Diwas celebration at S.A. Jain (P.G.) College, Ambala City.
The competitions saw participation from students representing 20 colleges, giving young participants an opportunity to showcase their command of Hindi, communication skills, literary expression and presentation abilities. The students from Sant Nischal Singh College impressed the audience with their confident and expressive performances.
Two Students Secure First Positions
In the speech competition, B.Ed. first-year student Palak Nehra secured the first position. Her confident delivery and effective presentation helped her stand out among participants from colleges across the competition.
In the poetry recitation competition, B.Ed. second-year student Suhail Gandhi also secured the first position. Her expressive recitation and strong poetic presentation were appreciated by the audience and judges.
Certificates and Mementos Presented
The successful students were honoured with certificates and mementos by Dr. Maha Singh Poonia, Director of the Hindi Department at Kurukshetra University. The recognition marked an important achievement for the students and reflected the institution’s emphasis on academic, literary and co-curricular development.
The event also provided participants with a platform to develop confidence, communication skills and a deeper appreciation of Hindi language and literature. Such competitions encourage students to express their ideas creatively and participate actively in cultural and literary activities.

Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Acting Principal of Sant Nischal Singh College of Education for Women, congratulated Palak Nehra and Suhail Gandhi on their achievement. She appreciated their efforts and wished them continued success in their academic as well as co-curricular pursuits.
