Students Spread Cleanliness Message Through Rally»

Officiating Principal Dr Jaspreet Kar guided the students during the programme and emphasised the importance of cleanliness in building a clean and healthy society. The rally provided the B.Ed students with an opportunity to communicate directly with the community and encourage people to adopt responsible sanitation practices in their daily lives.

Carrying messages and raising awareness slogans, the students urged people to keep their surroundings clean, avoid littering and ensure that garbage is placed at designated disposal points. They also highlighted the importance of keeping public spaces clean for the benefit of the wider community.

Slogans Highlighted Everyday Responsibility»

The students used slogans such as “Clean India, Healthy India” and “Adopt Cleanliness, Keep Diseases Away” to communicate the importance of sanitation. The messages focused on simple actions that can contribute to cleaner surroundings, including responsible waste disposal and maintaining hygiene in public areas.

The participants took part in the rally with enthusiasm and discipline. Their involvement also reflected the role educational institutions can play in taking social awareness initiatives beyond the classroom and engaging students with issues affecting the wider community.

Cleanliness Described as a Shared Civic Responsibility»

College Principal Dr Jaspreet Kaur and faculty members appreciated the efforts of the students. They said cleanliness should not be viewed merely as a campaign or an occasional activity but as a responsibility shared by every citizen.

Students were encouraged to incorporate the values of cleanliness and social responsibility associated with Mahatma Gandhi into their everyday lives. The college representatives emphasised that sustained public participation is important for maintaining clean and healthy surroundings.

Programme Organised by Sudesh Panjeta and Richa»

The awareness rally was organised by Sudesh Panjeta and Richa. Their coordination helped students participate in the programme and present the cleanliness message in an organised manner.

The initiative was designed not only to promote sanitation awareness but also to develop a sense of social responsibility and community participation among students preparing for careers in education. Such activities can provide future teachers with practical experience in communicating social messages and engaging with communities.

Rally Concludes with Cleanliness Pledge»

The programme concluded with a pledge to remain aware of cleanliness and encourage others to follow responsible sanitation practices. The students’ message centred on the idea that maintaining clean surroundings requires continuous participation rather than attention only during special campaigns.
