Camp schedule revised to twice a week as officials are directed to make every effort to resolve complaints on the spot

CTM Piyush Gupta has directed officials to make every possible effort to resolve the grievances of citizens visiting the Samadhan Camp at the earliest, preferably on the spot. He said that even in cases where complaints require verification of documents or further investigation, concerned departments must ensure their resolution within a fixed timeframe.
Chairing a Samadhan Camp at the auditorium of the District Secretariat, Piyush Gupta said the camps are being organised under the directions of the Haryana Government to provide quick and accessible solutions to public grievances. He said the government has recently revised the schedule of the camps.
The Samadhan Camps will now be held twice a week, every Monday and Thursday, from 10 am to 12 noon. As earlier, the camps will continue to be organised at both the district and sub-divisional levels so that people can raise their concerns before the concerned authorities without unnecessary delay.
A total of 11 complaints were received during the Samadhan Camp held under the chairmanship of CTM Piyush Gupta. The grievances covered a range of issues, including police matters, sewerage repairs, road maintenance, electricity bills, ration cards, Property ID corrections, municipal works, drainage facilities and Family ID-related concerns.
Among the complainants, Vinod Kumar of Usha Wali Gali raised a police-related issue, while Balwinder Wadhawan of Shastri Colony submitted a complaint regarding the repair of a sewerage manhole. An applicant from Yamunanagar raised issues related to road patchwork and the construction of a road leading towards GNG College.
Maim Singh of Sandhali complained about an allegedly excessive electricity bill, while Vipin of Mansurpur sought redressal regarding the cancellation of his ration card. Dharampal from Yamunanagar submitted a complaint concerning the correction of his Property ID.
Another complainant, Ankush Bakshi of Yamunanagar, raised multiple issues related to patchwork in a street in Ward No. 22, an inquiry involving Municipal Corporation officials and a police-related matter. Kuldeep Kumar of Rula Kheri sought the construction of a drain up to his residence.
Mohan Lal of Kandrauli requested information regarding the income generated from a Panchayati tower, while Bihari Lal of Yamunanagar submitted a complaint seeking correction of income details in his Family ID.
CTM Piyush Gupta directed the concerned officers to examine each complaint carefully and take necessary action without delay. He emphasised that the primary objective of the Samadhan Camps is to provide citizens with an effective platform where their problems can be addressed in a transparent and time-bound manner.
He said that complaints requiring immediate intervention should be resolved at the camp itself wherever possible. In cases involving documentation, technical verification or inter-departmental coordination, officers have been instructed to ensure that the matter does not remain pending unnecessarily.
During the programme, Yoga expert Dr Shiv Kumar from the AYUSH Department also conducted a brief five-minute yoga session for the officers and employees present at the camp.
Piyush Gupta encouraged officials and employees to incorporate yoga into their daily routine along with their professional responsibilities. He said that maintaining good health helps individuals perform their duties more efficiently and remain physically and mentally active.
Superintendent in the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Anoop Kumar, special members of the Samadhan Camp Khraiti Lal Batra, Jagdish Babbar, Neeraj Gupta and Surendra Sharma, along with officials from various departments, were present on the occasion.
