DDPO Narendra Singh reviews complaints at district grievance camp; Haryana Government holds public grievance camps every Monday and Thursday.

District Development and Panchayat Officer (DDPO) Narendra Singh on Monday directed officials to ensure the prompt and time-bound disposal of grievances received during the Samadhan Shivirs, stressing that every effort should be made to resolve complaints on the spot wherever possible. Chairing the grievance redressal camp at the District Secretariat, Singh said that cases requiring document verification or detailed inquiry should also be processed without unnecessary delay to ensure timely relief to citizens. He said that under the Haryana Government’s revised public grievance redressal mechanism, Samadhan Shivirs are now being organised twice a week—every Monday and Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon. The camps continue to be held at both the district and sub-divisional levels to facilitate faster resolution of public grievances. A total of seven complaints were received during Monday’s camp. The grievances included issues related to possession of a 100-square-yard plot, approval of a residential colony, cleaning of a drainage channel, removal of alleged encroachments from public roads and panchayat streets, and shifting of electricity lines passing over a residential plot.Officials from the concerned departments were directed to examine the complaints and take appropriate action in accordance with established procedures.
