Mega Blood Donation and Health Camp Conducted in Yamunanagar
A mega blood donation and health check-up camp was organised at Amritash Ayurveda Clinic near Flex and Royal Gym in Chhota Model Town, Yamunanagar, with the support of Vande Bharat Foundation, Amritash Charitable Society and Swar — The Voice of Society. The programme brought together healthcare professionals, charitable organisations and volunteers with the aim of providing accessible health services and encouraging voluntary blood donation.
The camp was held under the chairmanship of Vande Bharat Foundation founder-director Vikram Singh and Khushi. According to the organisers, around 172 people underwent health examinations during the programme. Patients were also provided necessary medicines free of cost, with medicines for a period of around five to 10 days supplied where required.
Multiple Health Services Under One Roof »
Dr Sachin Dua conducted general and Ayurvedic health consultations and guided visitors about their health needs. Necessary medicines were distributed free of charge as part of the charitable initiative. The organisers said the effort was intended to make basic healthcare more accessible to people who may face difficulty in meeting routine medical expenses.
Eye examinations were conducted by Dr Ajay Rana. Patients requiring further treatment were informed about concessions that could be available for surgeries. Screening related to asthma and lung health was also undertaken during the camp, allowing participants to seek preliminary medical guidance for respiratory concerns.
Mental Health and De-addiction Counselling »
The programme also included mental health awareness and counselling for people seeking help related to substance dependence. The initiative was conducted with the support of Karmveer and Mind Care Hospital. Organisers said the counselling component was aimed at creating greater awareness about mental well-being and the importance of seeking timely professional support for addiction-related concerns.
Blood Donation Drive and Charitable Clinic »
A blood donation camp was organised with the support of Shaheed Udham Singh Charitable Blood Bank. The organisers highlighted voluntary blood donation as an important community service and brought the blood donation component alongside the health screening facilities offered during the programme.
The event also marked the inauguration of an allopathic charitable clinic at Amritash Ayurveda Clinic. Vikram Chauhan and Dr Sachin Dua formally inaugurated the facility. According to the organisers, needy people will be able to obtain allopathic medicines at the clinic for ₹20 per day, with the initiative intended to provide affordable access to basic medicines.
Vikram Chauhan, Dr Sachin Dua, Khushi, Dr Ajay Rana, Dr Raghuvir, Karmveer, Ansh Rajput and Prahlad Mudgil were among those present, along with members of the blood bank and Dr Dua’s team. The organisers said such initiatives would continue to focus on combining healthcare access, social service and community participation.
