New healthcare facility to strengthen rural medical infrastructure and benefit thousands of residents in Radaur constituency

Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Shyam Singh Rana laid the foundation stone for a Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Alahar village of the Radaur Assembly constituency. The project, to be built at a cost of ₹5.63 crore on nearly 1.5 acres of land, is expected to significantly improve healthcare access for residents of Alahar and surrounding villages.
Addressing the gathering, the minister said the new health centre would bring quality medical services closer to people’s homes, reducing the need for villagers to travel long distances for basic healthcare. He reiterated that the Haryana Government is committed to strengthening healthcare infrastructure at the grassroots level.

“The government’s priority is to ensure timely and quality healthcare for every citizen. The construction of this Primary Health Centre will benefit thousands of people living in nearby villages and strengthen the rural healthcare network,” Rana said.
He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is continuously expanding health infrastructure by establishing new hospitals and health centres while equipping existing facilities with modern medical equipment.
The minister also highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, encouraging people to practise yoga regularly. He said good health enables individuals to perform their daily responsibilities more efficiently and contributes to overall well-being.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to rural development, Rana assured villagers that all development works in the constituency would be carried out on priority. “There is no shortage of funds for development. Our objective is to strengthen basic infrastructure and transform the Radaur Assembly constituency into one of the most prosperous regions in Haryana,” he said.
He further stated that the state government is implementing several welfare schemes for farmers, youth, women and other sections of society, with a focus on ensuring that the benefits reach the last person.
During the programme, Alahar Sarpanch Rajat Kamboj submitted several development demands before the minister. Responding positively, Rana assured that the proposals would be considered and implemented at the earliest.
The event was attended by SMO Dr Vijay Kumar of CHC Radaur, Dr Ajay Kumar of PHC Alahar, Executive Engineer Naresh Dhillon, SDO Joginder Khamra, JE Satnam Singh, Market Committee Chairman Rupinder Singh Malli, senior BJP leader Gopal Krishna, Rajpal, Sunil Kumar, Sanjeev Kamboj, Rakesh Kamboj, health department officials, ASHA workers and a large number of local residents.
