Agriculture Minister interacts with villagers in Radaur, inaugurates community facilities and urges greater public participation in development initiatives

Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Shyam Singh Rana on Thursday said the BJP government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, is committed to inclusive development and good governance, with a focus on education, healthcare, social security and economic empowerment.
Addressing meetings with BJP leaders, workers and residents in Ratangarh, Kunjal, Bandi, Rapti and Jagudi villages of the Radaur Assembly constituency, the minister said the government’s policies are guided by the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, ensuring balanced development without discrimination.
The minister received a warm welcome from party workers and local leaders before interacting with villagers to hear their grievances. He assured residents that genuine issues brought before the government would be addressed on priority.

Speaking to BJP workers, Rana said the strength of any political party lies in its dedicated grassroots cadre.
“A disciplined and hardworking organisation is the foundation of electoral success. The BJP has secured public trust and returned to power because of the commitment of its workers and its governance-focused policies,” he said.
Highlighting the importance of agriculture, the minister strongly advocated natural farming, describing it as a sustainable cultivation system that preserves soil fertility while reducing dependence on chemical fertilisers and pesticides.
Later, Rana inaugurated an Ambedkar Bhawan and a Backward Classes Chaupal in Rapti village, saying the state government remains committed to ensuring equitable development and strengthening public infrastructure in rural areas.
He also credited former Chief Minister Manohar Lal and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for implementing welfare initiatives aimed at improving employment opportunities and uplifting economically weaker sections under the Antyodaya vision.
The minister also invited party workers and the public to participate in programmes marking the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on September 25, stating that the BJP continues to draw inspiration from his philosophy of Integral Humanism.
Tree Plantation Drive Under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’
As part of the Van Mahotsav celebrations, Rana participated in a plantation drive at the Government ITI, Nachron, under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He urged citizens to plant at least one tree in their mother’s name and emphasised that environmental conservation is essential for ensuring clean air, combating pollution and safeguarding the future of coming generations.
“Trees are the foundation of life as they provide oxygen and help maintain ecological balance. Every citizen should actively contribute to expanding green cover and protecting the environment,” he said.
Among those present were Radaur Market Committee Chairman Rupinder Singh Malli, BJP Mandal President Hardeep Saini, Gopal Krishna, Charan Singh Topra, Praveen Kalyan, Jaswinder Singh, Hemraj, Narendra Saini, along with officials from various government departments, party workers and local residents.
SDM Hears Public Grievances at Samadhan Camp in Vyaspur

Sub-Divisional Magistrate Dr Kuldeep Singh presided over the weekly Samadhan Camp at the SDM Office, Vyaspur, where he heard public grievances and reviewed their disposal.

A total of four complaints were received during the camp. Officials resolved two grievances on the spot, while the remaining two cases were forwarded to the concerned departments for timely action.
Dr Singh said citizens can bring complaints relating to Family Identity Cards (PPP), ration cards, social security pensions, police matters, Panchayati Raj institutions, and other government departments to the Samadhan Camps.
He said issues that can be addressed immediately are resolved during the camp itself, while more complex matters are assigned to the respective departments with directions to dispose of them within the prescribed time frame.
The camp was attended by Naib Tehsildar Ravinder Kumar, Naib Tehsildar Kuldeep Singh (Sadhaura), CDPO Kiran Bala, Public Health Department JE Jaspal Singh, UHBVN JE Surender Kumar, PWD JE Jatin, Gram Sachiv Sachin Rathi, Health Department official Anil Kumar, Agriculture Department official Sanjeev Kumar, Sports Department official Vinod Kumar, and other officials from the SDM office and line departments.
