Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Shyam Singh Rana on Saturday called upon Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers to further strengthen the party’s grassroots network and ensure that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach every eligible citizen across the state.
Addressing meetings with BJP leaders and workers in the villages of Alipura, Sadhaura, Bapa, Bapoli, Poornagarh, Khedki and Ghilour in the Radaur Assembly constituency, Rana said committed party workers are the strongest pillar of any political organisation and play a crucial role in connecting the government with the people.
The minister received a warm welcome from party leaders and workers, who greeted him with bouquets and floral garlands before the meetings commenced.
Speaking to the gathering, Rana said the BJP has earned the trust of people because of its commitment to development, transparent governance and welfare-oriented policies. He urged party workers to take these initiatives to every household, particularly to those standing at the last mile of society.
“The strength of any political party lies in its workers. A dedicated organisation and committed leadership are the foundation of sustained public confidence and electoral success,” he said.
The minister said the Haryana Government is working with the vision of inclusive development and believes in carrying out development works without discrimination. He assured residents that no shortage of development projects would be allowed in the Radaur constituency and invited party workers to bring local issues and public welfare proposals directly to his notice for prompt action.
Highlighting the ideological principles of the BJP, Rana said the party continues to follow the philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, particularly the concept of Antyodaya, which aims to ensure that the benefits of government policies reach the poorest and most disadvantaged sections of society.
Inviting workers to participate in the celebration of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s birth anniversary on September 25, 2026, the minister announced that a large padayatra (foot march) would be organised from the Radaur Grain Market, with thousands of party workers and citizens expected to participate. He appealed to party workers to invite people from every village and make the programme a grand success.
Rana also said the state government is committed to delivering good governance through people-centric policies focused on welfare, infrastructure development and equal opportunities. He noted that balanced development across rural and urban areas remains one of the government’s top priorities.
“The objective of our government is to ensure that every section of society benefits from development. Haryana’s progress depends on inclusive growth, strong governance and effective implementation of welfare schemes,” he said.
