When the Tricolour flies high with pride, it evokes a deep sense of patriotism and national pride in every Indian. Adorned with three distinctive colours, the national flag represents the honour, dignity and pride of the country. With this spirit, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being observed from August 9 to 17, 2026, with citizens across the country showing enthusiastic participation.

Representatives of Mission Vatsalya under the Women and Child Development Department — Mukesh Kansal, Gaurav Sharma and Gurpreet Singh — have appealed to citizens to actively participate in the campaign and strengthen the message of national unity.

They urged people to click a selfie with the Tricolour and upload it on Har Ghar Tiranga.com, thereby becoming part of the nationwide movement celebrating the national flag.

They said the campaign is not merely about hoisting the Tricolour. It is also an opportunity to remember the values of freedom, honour the sacrifices of the country’s freedom fighters and pass the spirit of patriotism on to future generations.

The representatives appealed to every citizen to participate enthusiastically and hoist the national flag at their homes while maintaining its dignity and respecting the prescribed flag code.

They said the message of “Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Dil Tiranga” can further strengthen the country’s unity, integrity and collective pride. The campaign also provides an opportunity for families, children and young people to connect emotionally with the national flag and understand the values associated with India’s freedom struggle.

They called upon citizens to make the campaign a meaningful public movement by displaying the Tricolour with pride and encouraging others to participate.
