Navratri celebrations began at Pujya Jwala Mata Ji Temple on the ITI–Sasauli Road in Yamunanagar with a Dhwaja Parikrama, as devotees gathered to mark the auspicious occasion in an atmosphere of faith, devotion and spiritual enthusiasm.

The temple has been decorated elaborately for the festival, with its attractive appearance drawing the attention of visitors. Chants in praise of Mata Rani filled the temple premises as devotees offered prayers to Maa Bhagwati and sought blessings for peace, happiness and prosperity in their families.

The Dhwaja Parikrama formed the central part of the opening celebrations. Devotees participated with reverence, regarding the ritual as an expression of their faith, commitment and devotion to the Divine Mother. They prayed for the welfare of their families and the wider community.

Devotion and Positive Values

Sewak Rasik Ji said Navratri offers devotees an opportunity not only to worship Maa Bhagwati but also to strengthen values such as good conduct, service and positive thinking in their daily lives.

He said the worship of Maa Durga inspires courage, patience and the strength to face difficult circumstances. The commencement of Navratri with Dhwaja Parikrama, he added, reflects the unwavering faith of devotees and their devotion to Mata Rani.

He encouraged people to combine religious devotion with humanity, love and concern for others. According to him, the festival provides an opportunity to reflect on personal conduct and renew a commitment to helping others.

Sewak Rasik Ji also said that the temple’s festive decorations had become an attraction for devotees. Religious gatherings, he noted, can strengthen spiritual bonds while promoting mutual affection, brotherhood and harmony in society. He prayed that Maa Bhagwati would bless every family with peace, prosperity and happiness.

Navratri as a Celebration of Shakti and Service

Sewak Samarpit Ji described Navratri as a celebration of strength, devotion and positive energy, extending beyond religious rituals alone.

He said the worship of Maa Bhagwati reminds people of the victory of good over evil, the importance of respecting women’s strength and dignity, and the need to follow the path of truth. He described the Dhwaja Parikrama as a meaningful occasion for devotees to renew their faith and spiritual awareness at the beginning of Navratri.

Sewak Samarpit Ji said the temple had been decorated to welcome the festival, creating an atmosphere of devotion throughout the premises. He added that genuine devotion should also be reflected in service to humanity, assistance to people in need and the fulfilment of social responsibilities.
