Yamunanagar Police Recover Stolen Activa After Taking Accused on Production Warrant
Yamunanagar Police have recovered a stolen Activa scooter after taking an accused on a production warrant from Kurukshetra jail, police said. The action was carried out by the Anti Vehicle Theft Cell under directions issued by Superintendent of Police Kamaldeep Goyal to intensify action against crime and offenders.
Police said the accused was brought before the court on a production warrant and taken on police remand for investigation. During the remand period, the allegedly stolen Activa was recovered. The accused was subsequently produced before the court and sent to judicial custody.

Cell in-charge Rajesh Kumar said an accused in the Activa theft case was brought from District Jail Kurukshetra on a production warrant in connection with the theft reported outside the district court on July 4. A team was constituted under the leadership of Head Constable Har Vilas to take the investigation forward.
During the investigation, police received information about the accused, identified as Praveen alias Aman, son of Amar Bansi, a resident of Bhagal village in Kaithal district. Police said he was already lodged in Kurukshetra jail in another case and had disclosed information relating to the Activa theft.
After obtaining the production warrant from the court, police took the accused on remand. The stolen Activa was allegedly recovered during questioning and investigation. Following completion of the remand proceedings, the accused was produced in court and sent to judicial custody.
Three Arrested in Separate House and Temple Theft Cases in Bilaspur
Anti Burglary and Anti Narcotics Cell-2 of Yamunanagar Police has arrested three men in connection with separate theft cases, police said. The arrests were made under directions from Superintendent of Police Kamaldeep Goyal to intensify action against crime and offenders.
Police said the three accused were produced before the court and sent to judicial custody. The cases involve an alleged house burglary in Khera Power House Colony and an alleged theft at the Hanuman temple in Sarojini Colony.

Cell in-charge Raman Chandel said a team comprising Sub-Inspector Sukhwinder Singh, Navtej Singh, ASI Surender Singh and Kuldeep conducted the operation and arrested Ranbir and Aman, residents of Deha Basti, Bilaspur.
According to police, the two suspects allegedly entered a house in Khera Power House Colony during the night of September 14 and stole gold jewellery. Police said both accused had been named in around a dozen previous cases that are pending before the courts.
Another Arrest in Hanuman Temple Theft Case»
In another action, police arrested a man near Power House Bank Colony. He was identified as Sangam alias Sangi, son of Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Vishal Nagar, police said.
Police alleged that the accused was involved in a theft at the famous Hanuman temple in Sarojini Colony on September 21. The team conducted the arrest as part of the investigation. Police further said one previous case was registered against the accused.
The police said investigations in the cases are continuing. The arrests and recoveries reported by the police are part of ongoing investigations, while the allegations against the accused remain subject to judicial proceedings.
