Mega Job Fair 2026 opens new employment opportunities for youth as 200 students receive appointment letters in Yamunanagar

A Mega Job Fair 2026 was organised at Maharaja Agrasen College in Yamunanagar through the joint coordination of the Government Industrial Training Institute and the Employment Office, with 35 companies participating and 200 students receiving appointment letters at the event.
1,462 registrations recorded, 200 students selected
Chief guest Rajesh Sapra, BJP district president, inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp. He said 1,462 registrations were made by students associated with the Government ITI and Employment Office, while 200 candidates were given appointment letters on the spot.

Companies including ISGEC, Maruti Suzuki and Poly Plastic took part in the recruitment exercise. Sapra urged students to focus not only on seeking employment but also on developing the skills and confidence needed to become future job creators.
Students encouraged to build careers and civic responsibility
Addressing the gathering, Sapra also spoke about the importance of voter registration and encouraged young people to participate actively in the democratic process. He linked youth opportunities with the broader national goal of a developed India by 2047.
He also appreciated the solar system developed by 11 students through a self-help group and referred to the national plantation message of planting a tree in the name of one’s mother. He appealed to citizens to contribute to keeping the country clean.

ITI principal congratulates selected students
ITI Principal Bhupender Sanguan congratulated the students who received employment opportunities and wished them success in their respective fields. He said such initiatives boost students’ enthusiasm and strengthen their capacity to enter the workforce.
The event was attended by Divisional Employment Officer Nripender Sanguan, District Employment Officer Arun Kumar, Maharaja Agrasen College Principal Dr Aparna, Saraswati Nagar ITI Principal Bhupender Singh Kamboj, DIPRO Dr Manoj Kumar, ITI Vice Principal Deepesh Mahendru, JAPO Nirmal Saini and students from various institutions.
