The Rotary Club of Yamunanagar formally installed its new leadership team for the Rotary year 2026–27 during a grand installation ceremony held at Hotel Sapphire, with Rotarian Abhishek Dutta taking charge as the Club President. Along with him, a 35-member Governing Body was administered the oath of office for the new term. The newly elected executive team comprises Rotarian Harvinder Singh as Secretary, Rotarian Sumit Gupta as Treasurer, and Rotarian Rajneesh Aggarwal as Vice President. The installation ceremony was attended by several senior civil and police officials, with Director General of Police Alok Mittal serving as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished guests included SP Vigilance Mohit Handa, SP Yamunanagar Kamaldeep Goyal, ADC Yamunanagar Naveen Ahuja, and DETC Adityendra Singh. Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Alok Mittal lauded Rotary International’s contribution to community welfare, describing Rotary as one of the most respected service organisations dedicated to improving lives through initiatives in education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and humanitarian assistance. In his first address as President, Rotarian Abhishek Dutta outlined the club’s vision for the year, announcing a series of new community service projects focused on healthcare, education, environmental sustainability, women empowerment, and youth development. He urged members to work collectively to expand Rotary’s outreach and strengthen its impact across society. Congratulating the newly elected team, Past District Governor (PDG) Rotarian Subhash Garg said Rotary continues to serve as a strong platform for leadership, fellowship, and selfless service. He expressed confidence that the club would achieve new milestones under Abhishek Dutta’s leadership. Outgoing President Rotarian Ish Anand thanked club members for their support throughout his tenure and expressed confidence that the new leadership would carry forward Rotary’s legacy of service with renewed energy and commitment. During the ceremony, Rotarian Ankit Vinayak introduced the Chief Guest, while President-Elect Rotarian Jaideep Singh Chawla delivered the vote of thanks. The installation programme was jointly coordinated by teams led by Past President Rotarian Chirag Vinayak and Rotarian Sumit Mittal, who also hosted a special dinner for guests and members following the event. The ceremony was attended by club members, past presidents, representatives of various social organisations, and prominent citizens from Yamunanagar, reflecting Rotary Club Yamunanagar’s continued commitment to community service and civic engagement.
