Patriotic Procession Passes Through Kapal Mochan, Vyasapur and Sadhaura; Citizens Raise Slogans of National Pride and Unity

A grand Tiranga Yatra dedicated to the spirit of patriotism, national unity and respect for the country’s Tricolour was organised ahead of Independence Day, drawing participation from thousands of citizens across the region. The procession was led by former Sadhaura MLA Balwant Singh, with people from different sections of society joining the march carrying the national flag and raising patriotic slogans.
The atmosphere along the route remained charged with national pride as participants raised slogans including “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Tiranga Uncha Rahe Hamara”. The organisers said the objective of the yatra was to strengthen the feeling of patriotism among citizens and convey a message of national unity, integrity and brotherhood on the occasion of Independence Day.
The Tiranga Yatra began from Gurjar Dharamshala at Kapal Mochan. From there, the procession moved through Shiv Chowk Vyasapur, Dosadka Chowk and the main market of Sadhaura, before reaching Laxmi Narayan Temple at Toronwala Talab in Sadhaura, where the yatra concluded.
Throughout the route, residents, social organisations and community groups welcomed the procession with enthusiasm. Several locations were decorated to receive the participants, while local residents came out to express their support for the patriotic initiative.
The Ravidas Valmiki Sabha welcomed the yatra at the Chhota Bus Stand. The Maharaja Agrasen Charitable Trust organised a welcome at the Dharam Kanta near Chhachhrauli Mor. The Vaish Sabha welcomed the procession at Agrasen Chowk in Vyasapur, while the Shri Shiv Chowk Sabha Committee extended its welcome at Shiv Chowk, Dosadka Chowk Sadhaura and Marwan Kalan Bus Stand.
The reception at different points along the route reflected the enthusiasm among local residents. In Sadhaura, citizens also showered flowers on participants as the yatra passed through the town.
The organisers said that the public participation and the reception at various locations demonstrated the emotional connection people have with the national flag. Participants carried the Tricolour with discipline and enthusiasm while conveying the message that national unity and integrity are collective responsibilities.
Speaking on the occasion, former MLA Balwant Singh said the Tricolour is a symbol of the country’s honour, pride and identity.
He said the Tiranga Yatra was organised with the objective of strengthening patriotism among citizens and promoting the message of unity, integrity and brotherhood. He urged people to remember the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and soldiers and to contribute towards building a peaceful and progressive nation.
District BJP president Rajesh Sapra said that citizens today are able to live in a free environment because of the sacrifices of freedom fighters and brave soldiers.
He said every citizen has a responsibility to contribute to the country’s progress, peace and prosperity. According to Sapra, Independence Day is not merely a national celebration but also an opportunity to remember those who sacrificed their lives and dedicate oneself to the values of national service.
Zila Parishad Chairman Ramesh Chand Thaska said the Tiranga Yatra was an important means of strengthening the feeling of national unity, integrity and patriotism.
He said the participation of thousands of citizens reflected the strong patriotic sentiment among people. He extended Independence Day greetings to residents and appealed to everyone to maintain unity and brotherhood.
The yatra also witnessed significant participation from young people and citizens belonging to different sections of society. Participants carried the national flag throughout the procession and joined patriotic slogans along the route.
The organisers said that involving young people in such programmes helps create awareness about the significance of Independence Day and encourages them to understand their responsibilities towards the country.
The procession also served as a platform for community organisations and local groups to come together around a common national theme.
The welcome programmes organised by different social and community organisations added to the festive atmosphere. Residents gathered at several points to greet the participants and express their support for the Tiranga Yatra.

Among those attending were Sadhaura Municipal Committee Chairperson Shalini Sharma, SDM Vyasapur Dr Kuldeep Singh, Market Committee Vyasapur Chairman Vipin Singla, Market Committee Sadhaura Chairman Naveen Bhasin, District General Secretary Narendra Rana, BJP Mandal President Naresh Saini, Deepak Bhardwaj, Gurdeep Chaudhary, Johnny Rana, Kamal Mohri, Sanjeev Milakra, Vijay Sharma, Randhir Singh, Pravesh Dhiman, Surajbhan Saini, Virendra Dariyapur and Atul Singla, along with other party workers, office-bearers and prominent citizens.
The participation of people from different communities and social organisations was highlighted by organisers as an important feature of the event.
The yatra maintained a festive yet disciplined atmosphere throughout its route. Participants raised patriotic slogans and carried the Tricolour with pride as the procession moved from Kapal Mochan towards Sadhaura.

Chhachhrauli Administration Holds Grand Tiranga Yatra with 80-Foot National Flag
A grand Har Ghar Tiranga pedestrian yatra was organised by the Chhachhrauli Sub-Divisional Administration on Thursday as part of the Independence Day celebrations, drawing participation from thousands of students, local residents, administrative officials, teachers and members of social organisations.
A major attraction of the procession was an 80-foot-long Tricolour, which was carried throughout the route, creating a powerful visual symbol of national pride and unity.
The Tiranga Yatra was organised under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with the objective of encouraging citizens to display the national flag at their homes and strengthen the spirit of patriotism ahead of Independence Day.
The procession began at 11 am from the Government Model Sanskrit Senior Secondary School, Chhachhrauli.
SDM Chhachhrauli Jaspal Singh Gill, who was the chief guest, and noted educationist and RSS state intellectual chief Dr Bhupesh Arora, the special guest, jointly flagged off the yatra.
The procession moved through several important areas of Chhachhrauli, including the vegetable market, bus stand, police station, Chowk No. 1, Chowk No. 2 and Ganauli Gate, before returning to the Government Model Sanskrit School premises, where the yatra concluded.
Speaking on the occasion, SDM Jaspal Singh Gill said the main objective of the Har Ghar Tiranga Yatra was to awaken patriotic sentiment among the general public and encourage every citizen to hoist the national flag at home as a symbol of the country’s honour and pride.
He said the national flag represents the country’s identity and collective aspirations and that the Independence Day celebrations provide an opportunity for citizens to remember the sacrifices of freedom fighters and strengthen their commitment towards the nation.
Gill said that the participation of thousands of people in the Chhachhrauli Tiranga Yatra demonstrated the enthusiasm of residents towards the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
The procession received support from social organisations and educational institutions. Mitra Foundation and Saraswati High School extended cooperation to the administration and contributed to the successful conduct of the yatra.
The presence of school students was particularly significant as they participated alongside administrative officials, teachers and local citizens.
Students joined the procession with enthusiasm and contributed to the patriotic atmosphere through slogans and participation in the march.
Dr Bhupesh Arora said the entire area resonated with patriotic songs and slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” during the Tiranga Yatra.
He said participants were encouraged to respect the national flag and take a pledge to fulfil their responsibilities towards the country.
Arora urged citizens to celebrate Independence Day with enthusiasm and respect for the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and soldiers.
He also highlighted the importance of ensuring that the spirit of patriotism remains connected with responsible citizenship and respect for the country’s national symbols.
The yatra received a warm response from residents along the route. At several locations, people welcomed the procession with flower showers, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

Several other local representatives and citizens, including Kapil, Manish Garg, Gaurav Goyal, Gulshan Arora, Palak Aggarwal, Sanjeev Saini, Manoj Singla, Subhash Chand Poli, Yogesh Aggarwal, Vishal Sharma, Somnath Goyal, Ashish Goyal, Badal Saini, Mamchand Sherpur and Alok Garg, also participated.
