Free ration distributed to elderly, single mothers and needy families as temple honours BJP leader on his appointment as Haryana BJP State Secretary

Shri Shani Dham Temple in Sector-17, HUDA, Yamunanagar, organised its monthly free ration distribution programme for elderly citizens, single mothers and economically weaker families, continuing its ongoing community welfare initiative. The event also witnessed a felicitation ceremony for senior BJP leader Madan Chauhan following his appointment as the Haryana BJP State Secretary.
Temple President Rajan Bajaj said the monthly service programme is aimed at extending support to underprivileged families with dignity and compassion. As in previous months, devotees, members of the temple committee, social workers and volunteers actively participated in the distribution of essential food items to beneficiaries.
Senior BJP leader Madan Chauhan attended the programme as the chief guest. During the event, Rajan Bajaj congratulated him on being entrusted with the important organisational responsibility in the Haryana BJP and honoured him with a ceremonial felicitation.
Speaking on the occasion, Bajaj said Madan Chauhan’s long organisational experience, dedication to public service and commitment towards social welfare would strengthen the party at the state level while also encouraging initiatives aimed at public welfare. He expressed confidence that Chauhan would continue working for the betterment of society with the same commitment in his new role.
Addressing those present, Madan Chauhan thanked the temple management and the organisers for the honour. He appreciated the continuous social service initiatives undertaken by Shri Shani Dham Temple, particularly the monthly ration distribution programme that provides meaningful assistance to needy families. He said such community-driven efforts play a significant role in promoting compassion, social harmony and collective responsibility.
The programme concluded with prayers for social harmony, public welfare and continued service to humanity. Temple priest Pandit Ashok, along with Vishal, Manish, Sudhir, Prateek, Rocky and several other dignitaries, were present during the event.
