Students of Koshish Unit march with the national flag; organisers urge citizens to uphold unity, integrity and respect for the nation

Differently-abled children of the Koshish Unit at Uthan Sansthan took out a Tricolour rally ahead of Independence Day, turning the streets into a vibrant display of patriotism and national pride. Carrying the national flag in their hands, the children marched through different routes of the town while raising patriotic slogans and conveying the message of love, unity and respect for the nation.

The rally was formally inaugurated by chief guests Imosh Bansal and Priya Bansal, owners of Ambe Wood Factory. The enthusiasm displayed by the children during the rally remained the centre of attraction. Their participation reflected that patriotism transcends all barriers and that every citizen has an important role in strengthening the country’s unity and spirit.

During the rally, the children raised slogans such as “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”. Their energetic participation created a patriotic atmosphere across the areas through which the rally passed.

Eminent educationist Dr P.K. Bajpai, while addressing the gathering during the rally, said that a Tricolour rally should not be viewed merely as a march carrying the national flag. He said it is an expression of the highest respect for the national flag and an opportunity to inspire every citizen towards patriotism.

Dr Bajpai said that the country should always remain above individual and social interests. He emphasised that citizens must develop mutual respect and regard for one another to protect the unity and integrity of the nation.

He said the real spirit of patriotism lies not only in celebrating national festivals but also in respecting fellow citizens, fulfilling one’s responsibilities and contributing positively to society. According to him, programmes involving children can play an important role in creating awareness about national values and strengthening their sense of responsibility towards the country.

Uthan Sansthan Director Dr Anju Bajpai said the Tricolour rally was organised to convey the message that citizens should hoist the national flag at their homes on Independence Day and maintain a strong sense of respect for the nation.

She described the rally as a journey of patriotism and said such initiatives provide an opportunity for people to come together under the national flag. She added that the objective of a Tricolour rally is to strengthen feelings of national pride and encourage citizens to participate in activities connected with the country’s unity and integrity.

Dr Anju Bajpai said the message of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign should reach every section of society. She said citizens should participate in the campaign with enthusiasm while ensuring that the national flag is displayed and respected in accordance with its dignity.

The participation of differently-abled children gave the programme a special significance. Their presence demonstrated that opportunities for national participation should be inclusive and accessible to everyone. The children not only participated in the march but also conveyed a strong message that love for the nation is a common sentiment shared by people across society.

Chief guest Imosh Bansal expressed happiness over the enthusiasm shown by the children. He praised their participation and said the patriotic spirit visible among them was inspiring.

Bansal said that creating a patriotic atmosphere across the country before the national festival of August 15 should be a collective objective. He said such programmes help bring people together and strengthen feelings of unity and national integrity.

He appreciated the efforts of Uthan Sansthan and the Koshish Unit for involving differently-abled children in the Tricolour rally. He said the children’s enthusiasm demonstrated that with the right encouragement and opportunities, they can actively contribute to social and national initiatives.

The organisers said the rally was also aimed at encouraging citizens to connect Independence Day celebrations with broader values such as national unity, social harmony and civic responsibility.

The Tricolour carried by the children remained the central symbol of the event. As the rally moved through different parts of the town, the children continued to raise patriotic slogans and encouraged people to celebrate Independence Day with pride and dignity.

The event also highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for differently-abled children to participate in community activities. Such participation can help build confidence, encourage social interaction and provide children with a platform to express themselves.

The message delivered during the rally was that national celebrations should not be restricted to ceremonial events. They should also encourage citizens to reflect on their responsibilities towards the country and society.

The organisers appealed to residents to join the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and display the national flag at their homes on Independence Day. They also urged citizens to maintain respect for the Tricolour and use the occasion to reinforce the values of unity, integrity and brotherhood.

The rally concluded after passing through various routes of the town. The enthusiasm among the participating children and organisers remained evident throughout the programme.

The event was attended by Principal Ravinder Mishra, Swati Thakur, Sumit Soni, Honey Tomar, Rajesh, Deepa, Sunny and Rinky, along with other members associated with the institution.

The Tricolour rally organised by the Koshish Unit served as a meaningful pre-Independence Day initiative, combining patriotism with inclusion and social participation.
