Haryana Agriculture, Farmers’ Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Shyam Singh Rana on Monday held a series of organisational meetings with BJP leaders, workers and villagers across the Radaur Assembly constituency, assuring residents that their grievances would be addressed on priority while reviewing the progress of development works in rural areas.

Addressing gatherings in villages including Gumthala, Sandhala, Sandhali, Lal Chhapar, Model Town Kareda, Jathlana, Bagwali, Unheri Marupur, Barsan and Barheri, Rana said he regularly visits the constituency whenever his official engagements in Chandigarh permit, as it is his responsibility as a public representative to remain connected with people and resolve their concerns.

He directed officials to ensure that development projects in villages are completed without unnecessary delays and asked residents to prioritise works that would benefit the largest number of people. He said the government was committed to strengthening infrastructure and improving basic amenities in rural areas.

Highlighting the BJP government’s governance model, the minister said recruitment in government jobs is now being carried out on merit without favouritism or corruption. He alleged that nepotism had prevailed during previous governments but claimed that the present administration has ensured transparent recruitment based on merit.

Rana also spoke about several ongoing initiatives, including programmes to honour martyrs, the proposed Tiranga Yatra, the distribution of sacred soil from Varanasi’s Guru Ravidas birthplace to Ravidas temples in Haryana, and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign. During the meetings, village sarpanches and residents submitted local demands, and the minister assured them that their issues would be examined and resolved at the earliest.

He also invited party workers, village representatives and local residents to participate in the birth anniversary programme of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, scheduled to be held at the Radaur Grain Market on September 25, 2026. He said the BJP remains committed to Upadhyaya’s philosophy of Antyodaya, ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person in society.

Emphasising the vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Rana appealed to citizens to promote and use indigenous products, saying that supporting domestic manufacturing would strengthen India’s economy and contribute to the country’s long-term development.

The meetings were attended by BJP Mandal President Aadesh Rana, Mandal General Secretary Sachin Pal, senior BJP leaders Jagdish Mehta, Anil Saini, Harish Gandhi, Ishtkar Rana, Jiyalal Kamboj, Fateh Singh Rana, Dr. Shubham Saluja, Sandhali Sarpanch Rajesh Kumar, Naresh Rana and several party workers and villagers.
