Campaign to Shift Stray Cattle to Gaushalas: Ramchandra Kamboj

Haryana Gau Seva Aayog Chairman Ramchandra Kamboj has said efforts will be made to move stray and destitute cattle into gaushalas and improve arrangements for their care. He made the remarks during a visit to Shaheed Udham Singh Kamboj Dharamshala in Radaur, where local representatives and community members welcomed him.

Kamboj said he would visit gaushalas to review their needs and seek government financial assistance where required. The objective, he indicated, is to improve management and strengthen arrangements for cattle protection. Ved Prakash Kamboj, Suresh Kamboj Dohli, Amit Kamboj and other members were present. The visit also emphasised community participation, unity and brotherhood.

Police Register Case over Alleged ₹40-Lakh US Job Fraud

Radaur police have registered a case following a complaint alleging that a family paid ₹40 lakh after being promised that a young man would be sent to the United States and provided employment. The complaint was made by Mangat Ram of Jubbal village in connection with his son, Dikshit Tomar.

According to the complaint, three people allegedly took the money after promising to arrange the young man’s travel and job in the US. The complainant alleged that his son was instead sent to another country and that further payments were sought for onward travel. The family later brought him back, and the complainant alleged that he was threatened when he sought a refund. The allegations have not been established in court and remain subject to police investigation.

Valmiki Prakat Diwas Procession to Be Held in Radaur on October 18

Preparations are under way for a procession to mark Bhagwan Valmiki’s Prakat Diwas in Radaur on October 18. A planning meeting was held at the Radaur Canal Rest House under the chairmanship of Rajendra Das Bapauli to discuss arrangements and the route.

The procession is scheduled to start at 8 am from the Valmiki temple in Odh Colony. The proposed route includes Potli, Khurdban, Thaska, Gumthala, Jathlana, Naharpur, Mandebar and Bapauli, before concluding in Ward 13 of Radaur. Organisers are preparing the programme with an emphasis on devotion, community participation and social harmony.

JMIETI Students Learn About Applications of AI in Education

Students of the BCA Department at JMIETI attended a guest lecture on artificial intelligence in education. The session was delivered by Rajnish Upadhyay, a senior engineer with Glassco Labs Pvt Ltd, Ambala, who discussed the expanding role of AI-based tools in learning and teaching.

The lecture covered smart learning, personalised learning experiences and practical uses of emerging technology. Dr Tejinder Kumar thanked the speaker, while Mohit Kumar Vashishth helped coordinate the programme. JMIETI Director Dr Vivek Sharma said that knowledge of AI is increasingly important as technology influences professional fields and educational practices.
