The Yamunanagar district administration is conducting Samadhan Shivir twice a week at both district and sub-divisional levels to facilitate the prompt resolution of public grievances and ensure that citizens can approach the administration with their problems without unnecessary delays.

The camps are being organised every Monday and Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon in accordance with the directions of the Haryana government. The initiative is aimed at providing citizens with a convenient platform to bring their complaints directly before the concerned authorities and seek timely action.

Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Preeti, Deputy Commissioner’s Office Superintendent Anoop Kumar said the grievance camps were being conducted regularly to strengthen the administration’s public outreach and provide quicker solutions to issues raised by residents. He said the camps are being held at both district and sub-divisional levels so that people can access the grievance redressal mechanism closer to their respective areas.

A district-level Samadhan Shivir was held at the conference hall of the District Secretariat under the chairmanship of Anoop Kumar. Two complaints were received during the latest session, with residents raising issues concerning legal action and correction of a name in a property identification record.

Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Karhera, approached the camp with a request concerning legal action, while Avinash, a resident of Model Colony, Yamunanagar, raised an issue relating to correction of his name in the property ID record.

The administration heard both matters during the grievance session. Such direct interaction with citizens is intended to ensure that complaints are brought to the notice of the appropriate authorities and processed through the relevant departments.

The district administration has been emphasising the importance of making public grievance redressal accessible and responsive. The twice-weekly camps provide residents with designated days and timings to approach officials regarding problems requiring administrative intervention.

The initiative also seeks to reduce the need for citizens to make repeated visits to different government offices. By bringing representatives and officials together at a designated grievance platform, the administration aims to facilitate coordination and enable complaints to be forwarded to the appropriate department for necessary action.

The Monday and Thursday schedule provides a regular mechanism through which citizens can present their concerns. The camps are being organised at two administrative levels, covering both the district headquarters and sub-divisional areas, thereby extending the grievance redressal process beyond the district-level administration.

The administration has also stressed that complaints received through the camps should be taken seriously and dealt with according to the applicable procedures. Matters requiring action by specific departments can be referred to the concerned officials for examination and necessary follow-up.

The presence of special members of the Samadhan Shivir along with officials from different departments is intended to strengthen the process of hearing public grievances. Jagdish Babbar, Neeraj Gupta and Khareti Lal Batra were among the special members present at the district-level camp.

Officials from various departments also attended the session and remained available during the proceedings. Their participation provides an opportunity for complaints involving different administrative areas to be brought before the relevant authorities and examined accordingly.

The grievance relating to correction of a name in the property ID record highlights the type of civic and property-related issue that residents may bring before the administration. Accurate property records are important for citizens, and residents facing discrepancies can approach the appropriate administrative mechanism for correction in accordance with the prescribed process.

Similarly, the complaint concerning legal action raised by Kuldeep Singh was placed before the grievance camp for consideration. The administration’s grievance mechanism allows citizens to bring such concerns to the notice of officials rather than having to navigate the process without administrative assistance.

The district administration has urged citizens to make use of the Samadhan Shivir facility and bring their genuine grievances before the authorities on the designated days. The camps are intended to provide a structured avenue for interaction between residents and government officials.

The initiative forms part of the broader effort to make administration more citizen-centric and ensure that public complaints receive timely attention. Regular grievance camps can also help officials identify recurring issues and improve coordination between departments responsible for addressing them.

Deputy Commissioner Preeti has directed officials to maintain seriousness and responsiveness while dealing with public grievances. The objective is not merely to receive complaints but to ensure that matters are examined and taken forward through the appropriate administrative channels.

The district-level session at the District Secretariat once again provided residents with an opportunity to directly communicate their concerns. With the camps being held twice every week, citizens have a regular platform through which they can seek administrative intervention on matters affecting them.

The administration said the continued participation of officials from different departments is important for making the grievance redressal mechanism effective. Where a complaint falls within the jurisdiction of a particular department, the concerned officials can examine the matter and proceed according to established rules and procedures.

The Monday and Thursday schedule also enables residents to plan their visit to the grievance camp rather than approaching offices without knowing when the relevant officials will be available. The district and sub-divisional arrangements further aim to make the facility accessible to people across Yamunanagar.

At the latest district-level Samadhan Shivir, two complaints were formally received. The administration said the issues raised by Kuldeep Singh and Avinash would be dealt with through the relevant administrative process.

The presence of special members Jagdish Babbar, Neeraj Gupta and Khareti Lal Batra, along with officials from various departments, added to the public interaction mechanism during the session.

The district administration has reiterated that the grievance camps are intended to make public services more accessible and provide citizens with a direct channel to raise their concerns. Residents can approach the camps on Mondays and Thursdays between 10 am and 12 noon at the designated district or sub-divisional level venue.

Through regular public grievance sessions, the administration aims to strengthen communication with citizens, improve responsiveness and ensure that genuine problems receive due attention. The initiative is also expected to help promote greater transparency in the handling of public complaints and reinforce the administration’s commitment to citizen-oriented governance.
