Inspired by the divine message of Baba Hardev Singh Ji — “Pollution, whether within or outside, is harmful in both forms” —, Sant Nirankari Mission has continued its efforts to connect environmental protection with human consciousness and social responsibility. Taking this message forward, the Mission organised a major environmental service activity at the Civil Hospital in Yamunanagar, where volunteers carried out cleaning, maintenance and care of the existing green area while also planting a large number of saplings.
The programme was organised under the guidance and chairmanship of Baldev Singh Ji, Coordinator, with hundreds of brothers and sisters from the Sant Nirankari Sewa Dal participating enthusiastically. The volunteers collectively worked to clean and maintain the Van area and strengthen the green cover through plantation.
The initiative forms part of the Mission’s wider environmental campaign, ‘Oneness Van – Harmony with Nature’, which aims to contribute towards the creation of a greener, healthier, balanced and sustainable future.
Environmental Protection Beyond Plantation:

Baldev Singh Ji said that the initiative began in August 2021 with the blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji. He said the initiative aims to establish environmental conservation as a lasting value rather than a one-day activity. The larger vision is to ensure that future generations inherit a planet that is greener, cleaner, healthier and environmentally balanced.

At the Civil Hospital in Yamunanagar, the programme witnessed active participation by a large number of volunteers. Members of the Sant Nirankari Sewa Dal worked together to clean the designated Van area and ensure its proper upkeep.
The volunteers also planted saplings in significant numbers, adding to the green environment of the hospital premises and reinforcing the message that public spaces can become important centres for community-led environmental action.
The programme demonstrated how collective participation can make environmental conservation more effective. Along with plantation, emphasis was placed on the regular care and maintenance of the plants so that the initiative produces long-term results.

Sant Nirankari Mandal Secretary Joginder Sukhija Ji said that the environmental initiative has expanded significantly across the country.
According to the information shared by the Mission, around 350 tree clusters have been established in different states of India. In addition, volunteers and devotees are actively involved in the protection and development of trees at more than 600 ‘Oneness Van’ locations.
The initiative has helped promote awareness about environmental conservation, ecological responsibility and collective participation.

Sixth Phase of Nationwide Campaign:
Continuing the environmental mission, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation launched the sixth phase of the mega plantation campaign on Sunday, August 23.
According to the information provided, the campaign was organised simultaneously at 630 locations across rural and urban areas of the country. Lakhs of devotees and volunteers participated in the large-scale environmental initiative.
During the campaign, approximately 10 lakh saplings were planted across different locations, according to the Mission.
The large-scale initiative is aimed at generating greater public awareness about environmental protection while contributing to the development of a greener and healthier future.
The participation of volunteers at locations across the country reflected the growing importance of community-based environmental initiatives at a time when issues such as pollution, declining green cover and ecological imbalance have become matters of increasing concern.
