Sixty-three personnel elevated to EASI rank and one to Honorary Inspector after dedicated service in Ambala, Kurukshetra and Yamunanagar districts

For 64 police personnel of the Ambala Range, Thursday brought a moment of pride and recognition as they were promoted to higher ranks in acknowledgement of their long and dedicated service. Inspector General of Police, Ambala Range, Pankaj Nain, IPS, promoted 63 police personnel from EHC/HC to EASI and one police personnel from ESI to the rank of Honorary Inspector.
Of the 64 personnel promoted, 29 belong to Ambala district, 29 to Kurukshetra district and six to Yamunanagar district. The promotions mark an important milestone in the service careers of the personnel and recognise their commitment, discipline and sustained contribution to policing responsibilities.
Congratulating all the promoted personnel, IGP Pankaj Nain said receiving a promotion after serving the police department with dedication, discipline and a strong sense of duty is a matter of pride and honour for every police employee. He said the promotions represent an important achievement in their professional careers and are also recognition of their hard work, commitment, sincerity and dedication towards their responsibilities.
Nain said the police force plays a vital role in maintaining law and order, ensuring the safety and security of citizens and strengthening internal security. With a promotion, he pointed out, the responsibilities of police personnel also increase. The elevated ranks therefore bring not only professional recognition but also greater expectations from the personnel concerned.
The Inspector General said recognising the hard work, commitment and dedication of police personnel remains among the priorities of the department. He expressed confidence that all those promoted would continue to discharge their responsibilities with the same level of sincerity, honesty and commitment in their new roles.
He also urged the promoted personnel to maintain the dignity and reputation of the police department while giving the highest priority to public service and security. Their experience and service record, he said, would help them perform their enhanced responsibilities effectively and contribute further to the functioning of the police force.
The promotions cover personnel serving across three districts of the Ambala Range, reflecting the contribution of police employees working at different levels of the force. The recognition is also expected to encourage personnel to continue performing their duties with dedication and professionalism.
Among the promoted personnel from Ambala district, ESI Hari Krishan was elevated to the rank of Honorary Inspector. Twenty-eight personnel were promoted from the EHC/HC ranks to EASI.
The Ambala district personnel promoted to EASI are Ramesh Chand, Baldev Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Salim Mohammad, Praveen Kumar, Manmohan, Jai Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Vinod Kumar, Rajbir, Sanjeev Kumar, Manjit Singh, Surender Singh, Sunil Kumar, Dharam Chand, Pradeep Singh, Tarsem Lal, Kamaljit Singh, Surinder Singh, Satpal Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Jaswinder Singh, Jasbir Singh, Virender Kumar, Aman Kumar, Subhash Chand and Balwinder Singh.
In Kurukshetra district, 29 police personnel were promoted to EASI. They include Rajesh Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Baldev Kumar, Surender Kumar, Labh Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Anil Kumar, Karmbir, Chhatarpal, Baljinder Singh, Sarvjeet Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Bhopal Singh, Rajinder Kumar, Shishpal, Pawan Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Jasbir Singh, Sushil Kumar, Balinder Singh, Joginder Pal, Ramesh Kumar, Malkit Singh, Vinod Kumar, Karmbir, Satinder Pal Singh, Krishan Kumar and Vikram Singh.
From Yamunanagar district, six police personnel were promoted to EASI. They are Naresh Kumar, Mohammad Salim, Deepak, Sanjay, Charan Singh and Pradeep Kumar.
The promotions have come after the personnel completed long periods of service and continued to perform their duties in the police department. Such career advancement provides recognition for their contribution while also placing greater responsibility on them in their respective assignments.
The police force is responsible for a wide range of duties, including maintaining public order, responding to emergencies, preventing crime, protecting citizens and ensuring enforcement of law. Personnel who move to higher ranks are expected to take on increased responsibilities and contribute to the effective functioning of their respective units.
