INLD Party spokesperson Arjun Sudhail demands accountability over alleged paper leaks, urges reforms to restore trust in the education system

Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) State Spokesperson Arjun Sudhail has termed the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as a victory for the country’s youth, congratulating students who had been protesting over alleged examination paper leaks.
In a statement issued on Friday, Sudhail said the students’ determination and democratic struggle had demonstrated that public movements cannot be suppressed. He praised the protesting youth for their resilience and commitment, saying their efforts had forced accountability.
Questioning the BJP-led Central Government, Sudhail asked why the minister’s resignation was not accepted when students had first raised the demand. He said the government should explain the delay and alleged that the concerns of young people were ignored despite sustained protests.
The INLD leader further claimed that instead of addressing students’ grievances, the government attempted to suppress the movement. He criticised the handling of the protests and called for accountability over the treatment of demonstrators.
Sudhail also alleged that protesting students, including young women, faced hardship during the demonstrations and questioned whether the authorities would have acted similarly if the protesters had belonged to families of ruling party leaders. He demanded strict action against those responsible for any alleged excesses during the protests.
Drawing a comparison with the farmers’ movement, Sudhail said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should apologise to the country’s youth and take concrete steps to restore confidence in the education system.
Reiterating the party’s stand, he said the INLD would continue to support students and demanded immediate action against those responsible for alleged irregularities, comprehensive reforms in the education system and stronger safeguards to protect the future of young people.
