IRFC CMD Manoj Kumar Dubey said investing in the health and well-being of young women is an investment in the nation’s future. He described the ‘Fit Girls–Fit India’ initiative as an important effort to motivate girls towards sports while ensuring they have access to quality sporting facilities and equipment.
During the event, sports kits comprising tracksuits, T-shirts, sports shoes and other essential sporting items were distributed among the students to encourage active participation in sports and fitness activities.
The programme was organised with the support of Veer Indra Social Group Society, which partnered as the NGO implementing agency.
