The 79th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam began on October 23 with an inspiring message of spiritual awakening, human unity and the importance of recognising the presence of the Divine in everyday life. Addressing the gathering on the first day under the theme “A Message to Humanity,” Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj emphasised that true awakening comes when people remain conscious of the Divine at every moment and make spirituality an integral part of their lives.

The four-day congregation, being held from October 23 to 26 under the spiritual guidance of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji, opened amid devotion and spiritual enthusiasm. Devotees from India and abroad gathered in large numbers to seek the blessings of the spiritual leaders and listen to their message.

Spiritual Awareness Must Be Reflected in Everyday Life

Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj said the central purpose of bringing together saints and devotees from different parts of the world was to sustain spiritual awareness in the human mind. Such awareness, she explained, enables individuals to live every moment with consciousness and a sense of the Divine presence.

She urged people to fulfil their duties and responsibilities towards their homes, families, society and country with sincerity, while also developing the outlook of responsible global citizens. Humanity requires people to rise above differences of caste, language, region and temperament and to accept one another with love, respect and a sense of belonging.

The message underlined that spirituality should not remain confined to thoughts, words or outward appearances. It must be visible in a person’s conduct, behaviour and fulfilment of social responsibilities. Genuine spiritual awakening, she explained, is not a feeling limited to a particular moment or occasion, but an attitude to be sustained throughout life.

Satguru Mata Ji further emphasised the importance of accepting the Divine will in all circumstances. By regarding every moment as a blessing and living with happiness, contentment and gratitude, individuals can develop a more balanced and spiritually conscious outlook towards life.

Dignitaries Welcome the Spiritual Leaders

At the Samagam venue, Sukhdev Singh, General Secretary of the Sant Nirankari Mandal, welcomed Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj with a bouquet, while Rajkumari Ji, President of the Mandal, presented her with a floral garland. Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji was welcomed by S. L. Garg with a bouquet, while H. S. Chawla honoured him with a floral garland.

The spiritual leaders were subsequently seated in an open palanquin decorated with flowers and taken in a grand procession through the Samagam pavilion to the main stage. The procession created an atmosphere of devotion and reverence among the assembled devotees.

Cultural Performances Add to the Celebrations

More than 600 students of the Nirankari Institute of Music and Arts (NIMA) welcomed the spiritual leaders with a Bharatanatyam performance and melodious welcome songs. Their presentation formed an important part of the opening programme and reflected the role of music and the performing arts in expressing devotion.

The presence of Satguru Mata Ji and Nirankari Rajpita Ji moved devotees, many of whom expressed their reverence as the spiritual leaders extended their blessings. The venue resonated with devotion, love and spiritual joy.

Devotees belonging to different cultures, castes, religions and linguistic backgrounds came together beyond social distinctions, reflecting the message of love, harmony and universal brotherhood. The gathering presented a vivid expression of human unity, with people from diverse backgrounds sharing a common sense of devotion and belonging.
