Samadhan Shivirs to be held twice a week as officials directed to ensure faster disposal of public complaints

The Haryana government has revised the schedule of its Samadhan Shivirs, with public grievance redressal camps now being held twice a week—every Monday and Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon—to ensure quicker resolution of citizens’ complaints.
Chairing the grievance redressal camp at the District Secretariat, CTM Piyush Gupta directed officials to make every effort to resolve complaints on the spot. In cases requiring document verification or departmental inquiry, he instructed departments to ensure time-bound disposal without unnecessary delay.
Gupta said the revised schedule has been introduced by the state government to make grievance redressal more efficient while continuing the camps at both the district and sub-divisional levels.
During the camp, five complaints were received on issues ranging from shifting an electricity pole and alleged unauthorised construction to disputes involving intimidation, attempted mobile snatching and alleged misconduct.
The complaints were forwarded to the concerned departments for appropriate action in accordance with established procedures.
Among those present were Deputy Commissioner’s Office Superintendent Atul Kumar, Special Member of the Samadhan Shivir Khairati Lal Batra, and officers from various government departments.
