CJM Nitika Bhardwaj inspects LNJP Hospital in Kurukshetra, reviews patient facilities and legal aid services

Under the guidance of District and Sessions Judge Dinesh Kumar Mittal, District Legal Services Authority secretary and Chief Judicial Magistrate Nitika Bhardwaj inspected LNJP Hospital in Kurukshetra to review the facilities and arrangements being provided to patients.
During the inspection, CJM-cum-secretary, DLSA Nitika Bhardwaj reviewed the arrangements related to treatment, accommodation, food, cleanliness and other essential facilities for patients. She assessed whether the required services were being provided properly and whether the needs of patients were being addressed.
Patients Asked About Facilities and Difficulties
CJM Bhardwaj interacted with patients undergoing treatment at the hospital and asked about the facilities available to them. She also enquired whether they were facing any difficulty in receiving treatment or accessing essential services.
The patients’ concerns and requirements were heard carefully during the visit. The inspection focused on ensuring that vulnerable patients receive appropriate attention, basic facilities and a supportive environment during their treatment.
Hospital Administration Given Directions
CJM Bhardwaj directed the hospital administration to ensure that necessary facilities are provided smoothly and that the rights and needs of patients receive special attention. She stressed the importance of maintaining proper arrangements for treatment, food, cleanliness and other essential services.
Legal Aid Services and Helpline 15100 Explained
During the visit, patients were also informed about the free legal aid services available through the District Legal Services Authority. Information was shared about DLSA services and the legal assistance helpline number 15100 so that eligible persons can seek support when they require legal assistance.
The inspection highlighted the role of the legal services authority in reaching vulnerable sections of society and ensuring that people are aware of both their basic rights and the assistance available to them.
