Four men wanted in connection with the ₹4 lakh robbery of a jeweller in Radaur were arrested following a police encounter near Kanjnu Canal Bridge in Yamunanagar late Monday night, officials said.Three of the accused sustained gunshot injuries to their legs during the operation and were admitted to the Civil Hospital in Yamunanagar under police security. The fourth accused was apprehended at the spot without injury.Police said an FIR was registered at Radaur Police Station after a jeweller was allegedly robbed of ₹4 lakh on July 9. Two accused, identified as Sandeep and Neeraj, both residents of Patheda village in Karnal district, had already been arrested in the case and were remanded to seven days of police custody.

According to investigators, information obtained during their interrogation led the CIA-II team to the remaining suspects. Acting on the inputs, police launched an operation near Kanjnu Canal Bridge, where they intercepted the accused.
The four arrested have been identified as Ravi, Satbir, Pawan and Parveen. Police said Ravi, Satbir and Pawan sustained gunshot injuries to their legs during the operation, while Parveen was arrested without injury. Officials said all four were wanted in the robbery case and rewards had been announced for their arrest. Police are now questioning the accused to establish the sequence of events, recover the weapon allegedly used in the robbery, trace the stolen money and identify any other individuals who may have been involved in planning or executing the crime. The injured accused are undergoing treatment under police guard. Further investigation is in progress, and additional recoveries or arrests, if any, will depend on the outcome of the ongoing interrogation, police said.
