The Kurukshetra district administration will organise special voter assistance campaigns at all polling stations on August 23, August 29 and August 30, 2026, as part of the Special Intensive Revision being conducted under the directions of the Election Commission of India.

Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Vishram Kumar Meena said the special campaign has been planned to make the voter revision process more accessible and convenient for eligible citizens. All Booth Level Officers will remain present at their respective polling stations from 9 am to 5 pm on the designated dates to receive claims and objections related to the electoral rolls.

The initiative is intended to ensure that every eligible voter gets an opportunity to verify their details and take the necessary steps to correct, update or include their name in the electoral roll before the prescribed deadline.

Vishram Kumar Meena visited a polling station located in Babain Tehsil on Saturday to review the ongoing Special Intensive Revision process. During the inspection, he obtained information about the work being carried out and also interacted with citizens who had visited the polling station to submit claims and objections.

The District Election Officer appealed to residents to carefully check the draft electoral roll and verify whether their own names and the names of all eligible members of their families have been included correctly.

He said that any eligible citizen whose name is missing from the electoral roll can submit an application for inclusion through Form 6 along with the required documents and declaration. The special campaign days will provide an opportunity for citizens to receive assistance directly from Booth Level Officers and election officials.

Citizens can also apply for corrections in existing voter details through Form 8. This form can be used for changes or corrections related to a voter’s name, address, age, photograph or other details, subject to the prescribed procedure and submission of the necessary supporting documents.

For objections concerning the inclusion of ineligible persons, deceased voters, voters who have permanently shifted from the area or individuals who are already registered elsewhere, applications can be submitted through Form 7 in accordance with the prescribed procedure.

Claims and objections can be submitted to the offices of the concerned Electoral Registration Officer or Assistant Electoral Registration Officer. Citizens may also use the official online voter services platform to submit applications and access election-related services.

Meena said citizens can contact their respective Booth Level Officer or Electoral Registration Officer during the special campaign to obtain information and assistance regarding the electoral roll revision process.

The deadline for submitting claims and applications is August 30, 2026. Citizens can also seek information through the Book a Call facility available on the ECINET application or by contacting the Voter Helpline at 1950.

The Deputy Commissioner urged eligible residents to make full use of the special campaign dates and ensure that their names are correctly included in the electoral roll.

“Participation in the electoral process begins with voter registration. Citizens should verify their details and ensure that every eligible member of the family is registered,” he said, emphasising the importance of accurate electoral rolls in strengthening democratic participation.

The district administration has appealed to citizens not to wait until the final day and instead visit their respective polling stations during the special campaign. The presence of Booth Level Officers at every polling station is expected to make the process easier for residents seeking to submit applications or obtain clarification about the revision process.

Kurukshetra Sets August 24 Deadline for AgriStack Registration Target

Deputy Commissioner Vishram Kumar Meena has directed officials of the Revenue and Agriculture Departments to complete the district’s farmer registration target on the AgriStack platform by August 24, 2026, stressing that the digital system is intended to improve the delivery of government schemes and services to farmers.

The direction comes as the district administration works to meet targets related to three major digital initiatives—AgriStack, the Digital Crop Survey and Auto Mutation.

Meena said the registration process should be completed on priority within the next two days and asked officials and employees associated with the Revenue and Agriculture Departments to intensify their efforts.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has directed districts to achieve their prescribed targets for the three initiatives by the evening of August 24. He said all concerned officers must work with responsibility and coordination to complete the assigned targets within the stipulated period.

The AgriStack platform has been introduced as part of a wider effort to create an integrated digital framework for agricultural services. Under the system, registered farmers are provided a unique Farmer ID, while information related to agricultural land parcels is linked with digital records.

The digital framework is designed to create an organised record of agricultural holdings and crop-related information. It can also support digital and geographical mapping of villages and agricultural land, helping government departments maintain more structured information about farming activities.

Meena said the platform is expected to help improve access to a range of government services and schemes, including PM-KISAN, crop insurance, agricultural credit, procurement linked to the Minimum Support Price, fertiliser and seed distribution, and other agriculture-related welfare initiatives.

He said the objective is to make the delivery of services more efficient and ensure that eligible farmers can access government benefits through an improved digital system.

The Deputy Commissioner directed Revenue and Agriculture Department officials to also create awareness among farmers about the importance of registration. He clarified that farmers who register on the AgriStack platform will not be deprived of benefits available under other government schemes.

At the same time, he said farmers who do not complete their registration may face difficulties in accessing agriculture-related services and schemes offered by the Central and Haryana governments in the future.

Meena appealed to farmers to treat registration as a priority and complete the process within the prescribed timeline.

The administration is also focusing on the Digital Crop Survey, known as DCS, which is a GPS-based crop survey system. Under the programme, information about crops cultivated at the field level is recorded along with geo-referenced data.

The DCS-2026 survey began on August 16 and is scheduled to continue until September 30, 2026. Agriculture Department officials, field staff and patwaris are participating in the field-level survey process.

The Digital Crop Survey is expected to create a more accurate and updated record of crop cultivation at the field level. Such information can assist in agricultural planning, scheme implementation and the management of various services linked to crop and land records.

Officials have also been directed to prioritise work related to Auto Mutation, another key component of the district’s digital governance initiatives.

Auto Mutation is intended to improve the processing and updating of relevant land and revenue records, reducing unnecessary delays and helping citizens access services more efficiently.

Meena said the administration’s objective is to ensure that citizens do not have to make repeated visits to government offices for routine work. The completion of digital systems and timely updating of records can help make administrative services more transparent, accessible and efficient.

The Deputy Commissioner called upon officials to work in coordination and complete the targets related to AgriStack, the Digital Crop Survey and Auto Mutation within the timelines set by the government.

He said these initiatives represent an important step towards strengthening digital governance in agriculture and improving the connection between farmers, land records and government services.

The administration has particularly emphasised farmer awareness and field-level coordination, as the success of the AgriStack platform depends on the timely registration and accurate digital integration of agricultural information.

With the August 24 deadline approaching, the Revenue and Agriculture Departments have been instructed to focus on completing the registration target while continuing work on the Digital Crop Survey and Auto Mutation.

The district administration has appealed to farmers to cooperate with officials, complete their registration and participate in the digital initiatives designed to make agricultural services more accessible and efficient.
