Haryana Agriculture, Farmers’ Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Shyam Singh Rana said the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign aims to strengthen the spirit of patriotism and national pride among every citizen.

Rana said the campaign, being organised on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeks to deepen people’s respect for the national flag while reinforcing the values of patriotism, national unity and love for the country.

He said this year’s campaign would be organised on a broader and more participatory scale. The Tricolour, he added, is a symbol of India’s unity and national identity, and every citizen has a responsibility to uphold its dignity.

Rana said India’s freedom was achieved after the sacrifices of countless freedom fighters and soldiers. Preserving the values for which they fought is a collective responsibility of every citizen.

Across Haryana, a range of activities are being organised under the campaign at Anganwadi centres, villages, blocks and district levels. These include Tiranga Yatras, Tiranga pledges, runs, fairs, canvas activities, Vande Mataram singing, the national anthem and Har Ghar Tiranga programmes.

The Agriculture Minister said soldiers continue to make the supreme sacrifice in defence of the honour of the national flag. He said the sacrifices of India’s brave soldiers and freedom fighters would always remain an inspiration for future generations.

He said the enthusiasm and participation of citizens in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign were strengthening the patriotic spirit across the country. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, senior BJP leaders and workers in Haryana were also actively participating in the campaign, he added.

Rana said programmes were being organised in schools, colleges and government offices across the state. He appealed to every citizen to proudly hoist the Tricolour at home and participate in the campaign while maintaining the dignity of the national flag.

He said the Tricolour reminds citizens that India is one nation moving forward with a shared commitment to national development and public welfare. He urged people to celebrate the campaign with pride and contribute towards the country’s progress.

Rana emphasised that standing united in honour of the Tricolour is a powerful expression of respect and commitment towards the nation.

He also stressed the importance of educating the younger generation about the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters and soldiers. Such awareness, he said, would help young people understand the value of freedom and draw inspiration from those who made sacrifices for the country.
